Our goals start with confronting the issue of finding clear and uncomplicated permaculture education. The chaos of scattered resources, conflicting advice, and no clear starting point often turn eager learners away. Mycelium exists to bridge these gaps. Similar to mycelial systems which connect ecosystems underground, the platform links scattered knowledge together to lower the barrier of learning. Mycelium strengthens permaculture education at its roots, encouraging informed action to support the overarching goal of addressing food insecurity.
I built Mycelium at 16 because I wanted uncomplicated permaculture guidance. I got exhausted finding conflicting advice and resources that didn't apply to me. So I spent the next year building a platform I couldn't find. With the guidance I got from the Philippine Permaculture Association and hours of curating content, Mycelium is now what I wish existed when I was searching alone at 2 am with too many tabs to count.
